STRUCTURED CABLING INSTALLATION

A structured cabling system is a complete cabling and hardware system that provides a complete telecommunications infrastructure. This infrastructure is used for a variety of purposes, such as providing telephone service or transmitting data over a computer network. It should not be device-specific.

What is a Structured Cabling system?

A low voltage structured cabling system is one of the most important foundations of your voice and data network in a building or campus. It is the organized collection of copper or fiber wiring and other components in walls, ceilings, conduit, and other locations that connect all of your IT hardware such as computers, telephones, security cameras, copiers, entry access points, and more to your phone and data networks. Apart from low voltage data cabling, this infrastructure collection is unique to each building installation and includes patch panels, trunks, and a variety of other components. It is what enables telecommunications solutions.

This system is analogous to the human body’s central nervous system, in which the spinal cord, nerve pathways, and end points serve as conduits for signals between the body and brain. Low voltage network cabling, when properly designed, provides flexibility, optimizes uptime, is easily scalable for future increased usage needs, and provides a good return on investment (ROI). It can also save money by limiting downtime and the associated loss of productivity. A properly designed and installed system also looks cleaner and makes network changes easier to implement. Who hasn’t seen tangled cabling that makes it difficult to figure out what goes where?

Our cabling specialists handle every aspect of your networks, from installation and setup to cleaning and organizing your server closets.
